Annual Conference of ITA ACITA 2010 Demonstration of Integration of Semantic Web Technologies D. Mott & D Braines, IBM UK How can information from disparate sources across a network be integrated into a coherent whole, whilst ensuring that the meaning or semantics is consistent across information sources? How do we build applications that facilitate shared understanding across different collaborative problem solving tasks and utilise community-sourced information provided by the Semantic Web? Common Logic • Our aims are to explore: • a realistic scenario based on Dragons Sword and modelled in the CPM • how to construct applications to share reasoning across different users • how to use the ITA “Logic proposal” for a Unified Reasoning Infrastructure • how to use argumentation to facilitate exposure of hidden assumptions • how to integrate information from collaborative problem solving and the semantic web Sowa RIF-FLD & CL semantics ?
