  3. Characters The major characters within this book are Jo, Widow Horcada, and Benjamin. These characters are major because they are all very involved with the Jewish children.

  4. Setting This book takes place in Lescun France. The setting is important part of the book because they wouldn’t even be able to have a goal to get the Jewish children to Spain if they weren’t in France

  5. Social Issue The books social issue in this book is discrimination, because the Nazi’s were treating the Jews with evilness just because they were Jews.

  6. Read Waiting for Anya I would recommend you read this book. I enjoyed it and you will too.
