Here are the list of top things that you should know about Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek • Kanchenjunga Trek Permit Trekkers need to obtain special restricted area entry permit for Kanchenjunga. It costs USD 10 per person, per week. The trekking permit commences from Tapethok VDC and concludes at Yamphuding VDC. The Kanchenjunga trekking permit is issued in Kathmandu at the department of Immigration before you depart. A minimum number of two trekkers, a guide and registered agency is required to purchase the permit. Kanchenjunga Conservation Area permit is also required and this can be purchased in Kathmandu or the checkpoint on the trek.
Kanchenjunga Trek Itinerary • There are three trekking route to Kanchenjunga south Base camp or Kanchenjunga North Base Camp. The Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek route covers both base camps and you can do it clockwise or anti-clockwise. The numbers of days required 16 – 25 days depending on the starting point of the trek.
