  2. About me … Research Orthographic knowledge development and cognitive processing of Chinese characters. Reading comprehension, reading assessment and testing, and reading diagnosis and remediation. Instructional theories on classroom learning and teaching psychology and methodology.

  3. About me … Teaching • Teach both graduate and undergraduate courses • Serve as the Coordinator for the Chinese Language Program • Serve as an academic advisor

  8. How do I combine teaching and research ? Teaching Chinese as a second language: Seminar in Research Design • It allow me to use my own research expertise in teaching • It also benefits my own research

  12. 3. Use research results enriching my teaching Teaching Chinese as a second language: Classroom Instruction and Practicum. This courseallows me to use my research results and curriculum development experience in the class to help students understand from theory to practice about what are pedagogical sound curriculum and teaching methodologies for CFL instruction and how to design them.
