Camden Street School: Preparing for NJ ASK 2010 3rd and 4th Grade Level Meeting April 13, 2010 Technology Lab
What resources will students have to use during the ASK 3,4?
What do you mean we can’t use calculators? The Short Constructed Response (SCR) questions, which are administered during the first part of the test for all grades 3 through 8 students, will now be a NON-CALCULUATOR active section for all students. This new policy affects our bilingual and special needs population as well. In our elementary grades of 3 and 4, the calculators will only be permitted during section/part 4 of the NJASK assessment. In grades 5 through 8, the calculators will only be permitted during Part 4, Part 5 and Part 6 of the 2010 NJASK math assessment. These Parts will include Multiple Choice (MC) and Extended Constructed Response (ECR) questions.
