  2. The Story • The milkmaid was bringing a pail of milk to sell at he market. She started fantasizing about how she was going to spend the money she planned on earning from the milk. In doing so, she dropped and spilled all the milk before she even arrived at the market. She returned home with nothing.

  3. Lesson: • Do not count your eggs before they hatch.

  4. Conclusion: This is a classic Aesop fable, with a great moral through a short story.
