Proper Health • Be in good shape – Any type of work in a disaster environment is intensely physical • Know any of your personal health limitations • Carry enough meds for at least 4 days - Consider refrigeration • Proper diet and nutrition • Can never consume to much water • Stress considerations
Proper Training • Working in an austere environment - First Aid Stations - Fire Rehab - Mass Immunizations Clinics (schools and Closed PODS) - Mass Sheltering • Deployment Considerations – Gear, Personal Health, Communications • Team Building Workout or Campouts
