Points to Keep In Mind Regarding Prospective Budgeting • “Reasonably Certain” • Past 30 days income • Income ending in application month • No reconciling • “Within the realm”
Types of Income: • Irregular/Infrequent and non-recurring income • Seasonal income • Self-employment income • Income received on a regular basis
Income Multiplier • For units paid: • Weekly multiplier = 4.3 * • Bi-weekly multiplier = 2.15 * • Semi-monthly multiplier = 2 • Monthly multiplier = 1 * Takes into consideration any 3 or 5 paycheck months.
