Exercise #4 When I was 14, my parents went on holiday for a week and I was sent to stay in a beautiful big old house in the country with some distant relatives. My cousin Linda’s best friend was an attractive 16-year-old girl called Anna, who had extraordinary wide emerald-green eyes and long dark shiny hair.
Exercise #4 I remember wonderful evenings chatting around the round wooden kitchen table. The following summer, I went back there again, but Anna had fallen in love with a tall dark-haired Italian pilot, so I had no chance! I was only 15, but I felt life would never be the same again!
