Its in the Middle East along the Mediterranean Sea, its between Egypt & Lebanon. • People, the population of Israel is 7,233,701 0-14 years: 27.9% (male 1,031,629/female 984,230) 15-64 years: 62.3% (male 2,283,034/female 2,221,301) 65 years and over: 9.9% (male 311,218/female 402,289) (2009 est.) • Israel is located, between 29°-33° north of the equator, The northern and coastal regions of Israel show Mediterranean climate by hot and dry summers and cool rainy winters. The southern and eastern areas of Israel are characterized by an dry climate. • The rainy season extend from October to early May, and rainfall peaks in December through February. Rainfall vary by far regions from the North to the South.
