  1. Tempo Pitch: Dynamics Tempo is how fast or slow the piece of music or song is; Kind of like the tortoise and the hare!! MUSICAL ELEMENTS A pitch is how high or how low a note in a piece of music sounds to the person listening to it. Dynamics is how loud or quiet the piece of music or sing is ( sort of like a pitch). It is also known as volume Duration Texture Duration is how long or short notes are within a piece of music when it is sung or played Texture is the effect of melodies and harmonies played together. There are thick or thin textures. Silence Timbre Silence in music is the gaps, rests or breaks are also parts of music Timbre ( or tone colour) describes the particular quality of sound , an instrument or voice makes in a song or melody. Structure Structure ( or FORM) is the over all plan of a piece of song, harmony, music or melody By Annabel Rainbird 7X2
