  1. 李嘉平教授孝親紀念獎學金 頒獎典禮 The 2ndAwarding Ceremonyof Professor Lee-Chia-Ping's Filial Piety Scholarship

  2. 殷瑀彤 Yu-Tung Yin ( PhD – 4th year ) Bachelor(University&period):National I-Lan UniversityNIU, (2004~2008) Master(University&period):National Taiwan University of Science and TechnologyNTUST, (2008~present) (Fast-Track Transfer to the PhD Program) • Research Category • Metal Oxide semiconductor crystal growth and design. • Dye sensitized solar cell fabricated and research. • Carrier transport phenomena studied on MO/electrolyte interface.

  3. Bachelor : Bahir Dar University (2001-2005)Master : Addis Ababa University (2006-2008) AtetegebMeazahHaregewoin( PhD – 3rdYear) Photo (Introduction to Research) My research focuses on the electrochemical and spectroscopic characterization of surface phenomenon in lithium ion battery. I am particularly interested in developing methods and strategies for understanding of surface film formation processes in lithium ion battery. Developing novel electrolyte additives to improve performance, cycle life and safety issue of lithium ion battery.

  4. Bachelor : Bahir Dar University (2001-2005)Master : Addis Ababa University (2006-2008) ErmiasGirmaLeggesse( PhD – 3rdYear) Photo (Introduction to Research) My research interest is on computational and theoretical investigations of electrodes and electrolyte systems in lithium ion batteries. My inclination toward researches in battery technology stems because I believe that, the next revolution in science is in energy sectors such as battery technology, which would play a grand role in numerous areas for instance environment, medicine, warfare, industry, society, and life on Earth. Even though a lot of progress has been made in recent years, lithium-ion batteries still suffers from some critical problems such as safety, battery life and durability (such as degradation, aging, failure). Designing of components of lithium-ion batteries and understanding of the chemical reactions involved, with the aid of computational tools, helps in the development of improved battery system.

  5. Bachelor(University&period): The University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UTDepartment of Chemical EngineeringBachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering2005 – 2009 Sunny Hy(PhD- 3rd year) Photo (Introduction to Research) Finding an efficient, abundant, and sustainable energy is pivotal for the further advancement of our civilization . Electrochemical storage devices is a stepping stone into finding the most appropriate energy that would meet our future demands. Lithium ion batteries is one kind of electrochemical storage device that has gained a lot of attention. My work focuses on understanding what occurs during electrochemical cycling so we can tailor materials to increase energy, power density, and safety. More specifically, using synchrotron and neutron based techniques is my main focus to elucidating different material properties and its ambient behavior

  6. Bachelor(University&period): SepuluhNopember Institute of Technology, Indonesia (2002-2007)Master(University&period): SepuluhNopember Institute of Technology, Indonesia (2007-2009) MochammadZakkiFahmi( PhD – 2ndyears ) (Introduction to Research) Since first time I enter NTUST, I have joined on Nanochemistry Lab. under supervising Prof Jia-Yaw Chang. Generally, my research focused on synthesis and modifying Nanoparticles, especially quantum dots (QDs), as well as improving on bio-application. After support my lab-mate on preparing polymer applied QDs, I designed phase transfer strategy of QDs by using short hydrocarbon surfactant and sonication assisted. Continuing my previous research, currently, I am designing general procedure for phase transfer of several Nanoparticles and its application as nano-carrying material on bio-application.

  7. Bachelor: Parahyangan Catholic University, 2007-2011Master: National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, 2012-present YuliantiTheresiaAsalui( Master-1st year) Biomedical Laboratory, E2-303 The research focuses on the nanoparticle fabrication by using Electro Hydro Dynamic Atomization (EDHA), namely electrospraying. This technique is a continuous, versatile, cost effective method that is able to produce particle size that range from several micrometers down to hundreds of nanometer. The nanoparticle will be applied in encapsulating, delivering active agent or drugs to the brain, penetrating the major obstacle of the Blood Brain Barrier (BBB). BBB is formed by endothelium of the brain vessels, basal membrane and neuroglial cells linked together by tight junctions that allow only specific compounds to cross. The nanoparticle produced should be hydrophobic and small enough in order to be able to penetrate the BBB.
