  2. Vision Statement • Provide quality lawn care for people who don’t own the proper equipment, don’t have the time, or don’t have the ability to care for their own lawns.

  3. Goal and Objective • Earn money • Have fun

  4. Today’s Situation • Too many lawns for me to mow by myself • I want to continue the business

  5. How Did We Get Here? • Last year’s customers asked for the service again • Neighbors of last year’s customers have asked about the service • I already own two mowers and other equipment that I used last year

  6. Available Options • I can mow all the lawns myself • Advantages • I would get all the profits • Disadvantages • I would risk injury, overextending myself • I might not do as good a job, thus customer satisfaction would suffer • I would have little free time • I would have to keep up with all billing and collection

  7. Available Options • I do not mow lawns this year • Advantages • I would have lots of free time • Disadvantages • I would have no money to spend during free time • I would have to try to find a summer job that may or may not pay as much • I would not be using the equipment I own

  8. Recommendation • Recommend I ask Matt and Jordan to join me in business • We could work together to earn money and satisfy customers • Matt and Jordan, will you join me in business?
