  1. Outline • Introduction. • Problem definition. • Suggested solutions. • CCSR architecture. • Implementation. • Testing : • performance testing. • Usability testing. • Implementation difficulties. • Future work

  2. Introduction Gas cylinders are considered as the source of energy commonly used at homes. It is characterized by its ease of use where it is for cooking and heating .But may be causing problems such as gas leak !

  3. Problem Definition There are many situations : • Gas cylinders and valves accessories and fittings , tubes may be damaged . • House members may leave gas without closing it when they are outside house.

  4. Previous work Smart Home System

  5. Suggested Solutions Mechanical piece installed on the gas cylinder has two functions : • Ability to closing the gas , if it's open we can close it remotely , and the mechanical piece should be connected to GSM . • Gas sensors (if gas leakage it's automatically closed )Reminds users to closing the gas cylinder when they are leave the house.(Under implementation)

  6. GRC Architecture Figure1: GRC Architecture

  7. Implementation Tools : • Eclipse • Microsoft Project Management • Adobe Photoshop • Genymotion

  8. Implementation (Cont.) Hardware Requirements : Figure2: Parts of the device used in the system

  9. Implementation (Cont.) Mobile application : Figure3: Parts of the mobile application

  10. Implementation (Cont.) Figure4: Parts of the mobile application

  11. Testing • Unit testing . • Integration testing. • Performance testing. • Usability testing.

  12. Usability Testing the system has been tested and distributed a questionnaire to a group of 10 housewives by giving them several tasks to use the system and a summary of the results were as follows: • 80% believe that the provided task is easy, and 20% see it as normal. • 90% have completed the test functions without the need for assistance and 10% have been helping them to perform certain tasks. • 100% indicated that all the buttons are understandable and also the quality and consistency of the program is high.

  13. Implementation Difficulties • Lack of information about systems that use GSM technology . • الصمام • الربط بين السوفتويروالهاردوير

  14. Future Work In future we are going to add many other features to the system such as: • system can send a message to the shop when the gas cylinder needs to be exchanged • user can know about gas amount from application • Supports multiple IP cameras
