  1. Federal 1512 Quarterly Reporting Calculating the Full Time Equivalents (FTE) of Federally Funded Jobs

What and When? • Jobs Created or Retained – jobs worked and funded with Recovery or Ed Jobs funding. • A funded job – the wages and salaries are either paid for or will be reimbursed with Recovery or Ed Jobs funding. • Jobs that are reported each quarter cover jobs worked and paid for just during the three months that lie within the current reporting quarter.

  3. Getting Started • Gather payroll reports showing hours worked by person or position • Download a copy of the FTE worksheet located within the Help tab of the 1512 web system.

  4. Select the sheet named “FTE Worksheet” Select a program from the drop down list:

  5. Enter your first employee’s name and position

  6. Enter payroll information for that employee:

  7. Reminder • Jobs are reported in the quarter in which they were actually worked as opposed to when they were paidor reimbursed.

  9. Actual Calculation • As an alternative to using the FTE Worksheet, you can simply calculate your own FTE using this formula for each position, by program:
