  1. 10.3: Locating the Center of Gravity • CG of a uniform object is at the midpoint, its geometric center, or balance point.

  2. Vertical CG • If you suspend an object at a single point, the CG of the object will hang directly below the point of suspension. • Create a vertical line beneath the suspension point. • The CG lies somewhere beneath the point of suspension.
