  2. REACH initiatives extend to three distinct areas: Substance Inventory Management System (WercsSIMS) IUCLID 5 integration and data sharing (IUCLID5Sync) Downstream Users Portal (WercsDownstream) Emphasis is to provide the tools our customers need, when they need them.

  4. Substance Inventory Management System (WercsSIMS) Tool for getting ready for REACH. Gather information about substances and preparations used by your company. Maintain information about their status under REACH. Maintain information about your Supplier(s). Maintain documents related to the substance.

  5. Substance Inventory Management System (WercsSIMS) Web-based application based on WERCS.Web Architecture for easy deployment and management by IT department. You can configure it (Subformat based) Easy to add or delete data elements. Publish the result – have the published documents available on the Web.

  6. IUCLID5Sync WERCS currently provides tools based on IUCLID 4 architecture. REACH RIP2 is introducing a new system for registration of chemicals- IUCLID 5. WERCS participated in the feedback process relating to development and data sharing in IUCLID 5.

  7. IUCLID 5 highlights Public database design for the storage and transport of information related to substances, their properties and attributes. Database uses XML as the method for transportation of data – between companies or from registrants to the database. WERCS will sunsetIUCLID 4 program and develop a new tool to work with IUCLID 5 architecture. WERCS will load data to IUCLID5. IUCLID5 will be the primary Tool for submitting Technical Dossiers and performing the Registration process. Tool for exchanging data among companies.

  8. New Document Types Extended SDS Annex 1 containing: Exposure Scenarios Risk Management Measures Internal documents – analytical tools ready for REACH

  9. New Document Types Everything we have seen so far in REACH regarding new documents can be accommodated by formatting in WERCS. Document being developed over the next few months. Formatting service to be part of solution.

  10. Downstream Users Portal Purpose is to gather actual use information from the Downstream Users of your products. Web-based application based on WERCS.Web Architecture for easy deployment and management by IT department.

  11. Downstream Users Portal DU will logon to a web site. Enter their data into a set of web pages. Data is sent to WERCS database for your review and analysis.
