Sultex at ITMA 2007Rapier Weaving Machine G6500 • Unbeatable flexibility
Sultex at ITMA 2007Rapier Weaving Machine G6500 • Industry benchmark in: • Woolen & worsted fabrics • Dress & neckwear • Upholstery / car seats • Protective clothing (Aramid fibres) • Airbag (Flat & OPW) • Benefits: • Top quality (new rapier technology) • High productivity (700 rpm) • Convincing economics (high yield)
Sultex at ITMA 2007Active Rapier Technology • Active Rapier Technology ART means: • ART Weft Cutter – pneumatic system, freely programmable cutting point for each weft • ART Active Inserting Clamp – active movements in the rapier head during clamping (left) and transfer (center) without elements protruding in the warp • ART Anti-Loop – secure transfer system for coarse weft yarns • ART Receiving Rapier Head – parallel system, for coarse and multiple weft insertions • Optimum color selection through special geometry of fingers: virtually no difference between weft #1 and weft #n • ART retains the advantages of the flexible, traditional rapier system while enhancing the range of insertable weft yarns to (and beyond) the levels of the ‘positive’ rapier system: free mixability with just one machine setting active insertion
