12. IP-1 related Services: Vikram Group has now entered into the field of leasing out infrastructure. Vikram Group has been granted Infrastructure Provider license (IP-1) by the Government of India. Under this license, Vikram Group can provide dark fiber network, Right of Way, Duct space and Towers on lease/sale basis to licensed telecom providers. We are certified importers and exporters, by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GOI. Fiber Ring Networks: Vikram Group is the premier provider of an array of services fiber rings in Mumbai, Pune, Navi Mumbai and other strategic locations. Vikram Group provides high capacity dark fiber solutions to wholesale/carrier customers as well as to large enterprises, web services firms and government organizations. Vikram Group also provides engineering, construction and installation services for it's customers in support of the optical transport product suite. We already have established a large network of almost 568 kms (comprising of 96 / 144 core fiber) in and around Pune in Maharashtra. We are in the process of extending this network to Mumbai going along the Expressway, and have plans to extend the same to Nashik and other regions of Maharashtra. We have already implemented ring networks to provide redundancy which is of utmost importance for our clients.
