  4. We are going to read the information on the groups who tried to police London before the Bobbies As we read in one colour highlight good things about the group. And in a second colour highlight negative things about the group.

  5. ACTIVITY Explain who you think was the best group at policing London before the Bobbies. Explain what was good about them but also what was bad about the other groups. EXT: Read about the introduction of the Metropolitan Police. Why were the Metropolitan Police not well liked at first?
