Day 2 What will you be able to do after today’s lesson? Write a summary Let’s look at pages 86-87 in our textbook. Directions: Buddy read pages 80-81 in your textbook Work with your partner to answer the questions on your handout Use the answers you wrote with your partner to write a summary of the text independently Your summary should be in your best cursive handwriting, indented to show it is a paragraph, written in complete sentences, and all words should be spelled correctly When you are finished, read the story “Aurora Means Dawn” on pages 82-85 and draw a picture that summarizes the story.
