  4. Hillsborough Writes Writing Night coming in October!! Second Grade Benchmark- Level 2 (Scale 0-3) • Yates’ Writes is administered once a month to prepare for Hillsborough Writes

  5. Math • Benchmark- 70% on all chapter tests Place Value Multi digit addition and subtraction Linear Measurement Time Money Geometry Weight, mass, capacity and volume Math Night coming in March

  6. Science Physical Science Earth and Space Science Life Science Nature of Science STEM Fair Project Science Night coming in September!

  7. Social Studies Students will investigate the impact of immigration over time on the United States, explore the geography of North America and discover the foundations of American citizenship.

  8. Student led Conferences and Report Card Pick Up Student led conference night is designed so that your child has an opportunity to share all of their accomplishments with you for each nine weeks. This is a very important night because it is also when report cards are distributed!
