Some types of comedy Shakespeare uses are things like; Comedy Through Language (plays peppered with clever word play, metaphors and insults), Love (prevalent in every Shakespearean comedy), Complex Plots (plotline contains many plot twists and reach a climax) and also Mistaken Identities (using it to deceive and alter the story). How were his plays written? Shakespeare’s plays were written with the most basic of writing equipment, a quill and a sheet of parchment.

  3. Where did he get his inspiration from? Shakespeare found his inspiration from the common storylines, but then added the complete opposite of what happens in a ‘Happily Ever After’ play, he experimented on the many ways a romance story could end.
