  1. 79 古老的十字架THE OLD RUGGED CROSS 在遠山聳立著古老的十字架， On a hill far away Stood an old rugged cross, 作為羞辱、痛苦標誌； The emblem of suff’ring and shame; 我愛這十字架，因主離榮耀家， And I love that old cross Where the dearest and best 來在上面替人受死。 For a world of lost sinners was slain.

  2. （副） 我寶貴古老的十字架， So I'll cherish the old rugged cross 一直到我俯伏主腳前； Till my trophies at last I lay down; 我堅持古老的十字架， I will cling to the old rugged cross, 等有天，我將它換冠冕。 And exchange it some day for a crown.

  3. （二） 古老的十字架，不少人很輕視， Oh, that old rugged cross, So despised by the world, 對我卻有奇妙吸力； Has a wondrous attraction for me; 神聖潔的羔羊，曾降臨到此世， For the dear Lamb of God Left His glory above 將它背至骷髏死地。 To bear it to dark Calvary.
