YOU MUST STILL SUBMIT PAPER BIDS • Go Live – September 27, 2013 • Electronic Bidding first accepted for the November 8, 2013 Letting

State of Illinois Digital ID • Used for three purposes: • Authentication – so we know who you are • Digital Signature – allows you to digitally sign specific data or forms • Encryption – allows us to use your Digital ID to encrypt the data so that only your digital id will allow decryption.

State of Illinois Digital ID To obtain a State of Illinois Digital ID, go to: http://www2.Illinois.gov/pki State of Illinois Digital ID Password Recovery Illinois Residents: https://instate.pki.illinois.gov/SOI_Recover_testedOK.html Illinois Residents must register online Information must be entered exactly as it appears on your driver’s license or State ID. Out-of-State Users must complete a paper application Paper application must be notarized and mailed Password recovery process is different for Out-of-State Users. See User Guide for detailed information.

  12. 3. Register Vendor • Users:  Anyone who can contribute information to a bid, such as Estimators • Agents:  Signature authority for Vendor • Administrator:  Manages Users/Agents, such as approve or reject access, or change roles

  14. 3. Register Vendor Click Return to Home and monitor your email for notification of Approval Approval is not immediate. IDOT must review your request before making a decision.
