Frequency of Occurence • The number of students reported with ED has been increasing slightly. • More than one third of youth with ED have additional disabilities. • More youth with ED participate in Free & Reduced Lunch than any other Disability group (68%). ASSESSMENT • Almost 30% of ED students met or exceeded the standards on their most recent statewide mathassessment. • Almost 40% of ED students met or exceeded the standards on their most recent statewide readingassessment. Discipline — Stability • Out of school suspension was the most recent disciplinary action for more than 25% of ED students. • ED students are the most likely to move from district to district. Multiple Years in 12th Grade • Students reported on this graph are all in 12th grade. Some are in their 5th, 6th or 7th year in High School. • For those ED students still in school in 12th grade, many will stay an additional year.
