The networks will gather best practices, community input and resources to prepare leaders in each of the leadership strands.

Communities of practice are groups of people who share a passion for something that they know how to do and who interact regularly to learn how to do it better. Strategic context: We believe that CoPs will impact leader networks to improve student achievement on a systemic level. • Educate • conduct workshops • establish best practices • Support • host professional development • Identify needs and define resources required • Critical factors? • Energetic domain • Skillful coordinator • Experts involved • Strategic relevance of domain • Savvy management of informal and formal structure • Adequate resources
