What’s New in Shanghai-Internship Program! • 4 or 6 credit internship comprised of a placement and a seminar. • 4 credit internship will include a 10 hours/week placement • 6 credit internship will include a 20 hours/week placement • 2-3 electives from CEA’s course offerings. • Pre-requisite: Beginning Chinese I • A 4-week Early Start option will be offered for Language Course Completion.

What’s New in Shanghai-Internships! • Sample placements may include opportunities such as: • English Language Newspaper • Journalism • English Language Entertainment Magazine • Students can have their work published and build a portfolio • Multi-National Dental Equipment Company • Marketing internship • Silk Art Manufacturing Company • Marketing & PR Intern to assist with product expansion • Automotive Parts Manufacturing Company • Operations Manager Assistant Intern

What’s New in Shanghai-Global Career Development Certificate (GCDC)! • The optional certificate program consists of a 1 credit Career Development Seminar and Externship. • Seminar • Participate in lectures, in-class discussions, experiential exercises, cultural encounters, and field experiences • Develop a resume and cover letter to effectively showcase the study abroad experience • Externship • Paired up with a career mentor aligned with the student’s major • Share experiences and discuss cultural differences and similarities in the workplace
