2. The Clique is by Lisi Harrison. This is a realistic fiction book. It was published on May 5th,2011 The novels are being adapted into a series of graphic novels by Yen Press, with the first volume due for release July 2010. On October 4, 2006, a box set called "The Clique Collection" was released containing the first three novels of the series A film, based on the first novel The Clique, was released on November 18, 2008 The Clique

3. The Clique • This story takes place in a rich neighborhood full of famous stars and inventors. These mansions sit on acres of land and are worth millions of dollars. Most of these people either have maids or drivers or even both. They all have nice cars and attend/host expensive events within the neighborhood.

4. The Clique • MasseyBlock is known as the alpha (leader) and founder of her 'Clique', The Pretty Committee. She isknown as the alpha (leader) and founder of her 'Clique', The Pretty Committee. She is very spoiled (her dad is a successful business man) and is sometimes very stuck up ,but she has a vulnerable side that reveals itself to the reader when she is under pressure. She's known for her wardrobe (designer labels), her quick wit and humor, and her desire to shine above everyone. She is described with having amber eyes, and shiny, brown hair. Massie is jealous of Alicia's Beauty.

5. The Clique • Alicia Rivera is Massie's "beta" (second-in-command) in the Pretty Committee , but her personality doesn't quite shine like Massie's does. Alicia is also a major gossip.Alicia is also known for her wardrobe (heavily influenced by Ralph Lauren), and for her exotic beauty (her mother is an internationally-known Spanish ex-model). Alicia's long, shiny, dark hair and big brown eyes (with curly lashes) make her a hit among the Briarwood Boys.

6. The Clique • Dylan Marvil is the Pretty Committee's source to the showbiz world, for her mother is famous talk show host for a television show called The Daily Grind. Dylan is bubbly and talkative. Dylan is the most adorable of the group and talks about her weight a lot. Her trademarks are her fiery red hair, her brightly colored style, and her obsession with her weight, even though she is average weight.

7. The Clique • Kristen Gregory is an all-star soccer player at school. She is a bit of a tomboy but loves designer clothes. She can't afford them because, before the inception of the series, her dad lost all his money. She hides that she is poor for three books. Kristen is highly intelligent, attending OCD on a full scholarship, and is considered to be beautiful with her long blond hair and aqua eyes.

8. The Clique • Claire Lyons moved from Orlando, Florida to Westchester, New York. Her dad was good friends with Massie's dad in business school, and the Lyons are living in Massie's guest house. Claire's family is not rich or successful like the other girls' families are, so she has a hard time fitting in at first, but eventually does. She becomes friends with Layne, known to the Pretty Committee as an LBR (Loser Beyond Repair). She and Massie are frienemies: sometimes sharing insecurities and laughs, at other times pitted against each other. Her trademark is her love of Keds, Gummy feet and her crush on Cam Fisher.

9. The clique • This book is man vs. man You can see tension between Kristen, Massey, Dylan, and Alicia vs. Claire. Claire is trying to fit in though the rest of the girls don’t want her there. Claire has to prove she's “cool” in order to fit among the other girls.

10. The Clique • At first no one liked Claire she was only a loser trying to fit in among the girls. Claire tries to get along with them yet it doesn’t seem if it’s working. The other girls do cruel and evil things to her. Yet, she does the right thing and helps save Massey in a tough situation. They realize she is cool and they allow her in as one of them. At last Claire is excepted! : )

11. The Clique • I liked this book because it wasn’t just the typical story of a girl getting bullied. The concepts were different not just the usual big bully vs. the small kid and eventually the small one over comes. It was sort of a battle against class. All strengths were equal they both did things to get back at one another. It was different than the normal books authors usually write about. It had more of a modern approach such as fashion ,boys and jealousy.

The clique • Harrison was born in Toronto to Shaila and Ken Gottlieb. • Up until ninth grade she went to a local Hebrew school, then switched to Forest Hill Collegiate, a public high school. • When she was eighteen she moved to Montreal to become a film major in McGill University. • After two year she left McGill to become a writer. • Soon after graduating, Harrison managed to get a casting job on an MTV game show called Lip Service.

15. The clique This book is about a girl named Claire moving to a high class area. She does not fit in with some of the rich girls in the area. She tries hard to be one of them yet fails a numerous amount of times. So she gives up and it becomes a war between high class and lower class. Ultimately Claire wants to hang with high class. So she does the right thing when a high class girl is in trouble. She becomes friends with the high class girls and the lower class girls.
