Eks 33 A, Jkt, Sept2013-Jan2014 Course Description and Objectives • The intent of this course is to provide management and analytical concepts for the management of operations and the decision-making process within the scope of the business process flow • This course acquaint the students with the decision making in performance measurement of operations function in both manufacturing and services operations. • The objective is to derive design and control process structure and improvement of any business process with fit analytical tools.

Course Requirements • Assignment : Apply for individual and group. • Individually, each student is required to write a big paper, 10-15 page, 1,5 space, content : (background, problem identification, hypothesis, method and analysis, results, conclusion, and references), andsubmitted by two weeks after the final examination day. • Group is formed and assigned to do a presentation of selected topics with a further discussion source from relevant journals and references. • Attendance and Participation. The full attendance is necessary in accordance to the rule of Master of Management UGM. It is important to read and study material prior to class sessions.
