What is The Career Development Program? For 30 years, the Ohio Career Development Program (serving grades K-12) has been providing career awareness, exploration and planning opportunities for students, helping them bridge the gap between the school world and the work world. Thecareer development process helps students answer the questions: WHO AM I? WHERE AM I GOING? HOW DO I GET THERE?

The Career Passport... …is a document prepared by students to communicate their skills, abilities, and future plans as they exit high school. • Components of the Career Passport include: • A letter from a school administrator • The student’s resume • Validation of performance - A personal written career narrative • A school transcript with record of grades and attendance • Certificates of recognition or awards • Letters of recommendation • Performance Vita (sports, drama, music)
