Views on ASEAN ASEAN’s natural resource endowments are unique, diverse and rich. But many environmental problems in ASEAN are transnational by nature. No country can solve on its own. It necessitates regional governance for pragmatic sustainable solutions. (Pichet 2014)

Transboundary Issues: Rosewood poaching in Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai World Heritage Site • Thailand and Cambodia are home to the poaching networks; • Viet Nam and Lao PDR are part of the trading route; and • China is the main buyer of illegally traded Rosewood.
