  2. Philippians Series: “Living worthy of the Gospel of Christ” – Chapter 2 14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,

  3. Philippians Series: “Living worthy of the Gospel of Christ” – Chapter 2 Encouraged to do & not do: v.2– agree w/ love each other / deep friends v.3 – no selfish ambition / conceit / others more important v.4 – by looking to interests of others v.14 – no grumbling or disputing

Philippians Series: “Living worthy of the Gospel of Christ” – Chapter 2 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

  6. “to be the light we must be around the dark” (v.5-8) Being in the form of God, he emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by coming in the likeness of human beings. Being found in human appearance, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, death, that is, on a cross.

Carry the light-giving Message into the night…”
