The Battle of A’sAWS vs AZURE Cloud Migration services Battle
AWS CLOUD MIGRATION SERVICES AWS cloud migration services also known as Amazon Web Services is a cloud service platform offered by Amazon, which provides services in different domains such as storage, delivery, computing, and other functionality which helps in growing the business to the next level. We can utilize these domains offered by aws in the form of services, which can be used to create and place different types of applications in the cloud environment. These services are designed in such a way that they work with each other and produce efficient and greater productivity and output
AWS services are categorized into 3 types such as IAAS(Infrastructure as a service), SaaS(software as a service) and PaaS(platform as a service). AWS services were launched in the year 2006 and become the best cloud servicing platform among the available cloud platforms. Cloud platforms offer various advantages such as cost minimization, management overhead reduction, etc.
AZURE CLOUD MIGRATION SERVICES Similarly, Microsoft Azure cloud migration services are a cloud service platform by another giant Microsoft, which provides similar services like the aws in domains such as storage, compute, networking, database, developer tools and other functionality which help organizations to improve their business. Azure services are categorized into 3 as the PaaS(platform as a service), SaaS (software as a service) and IaaS(Infrastructure as a service) which can be used by developers and software employees to create, install and manage applications and services through the cloud environment
Microsoft Azure was started in 2010 and it evolved as one of the biggest cloud service providers. It offers a range of integrated cloud services such as computing, analytics, networking, storage, mobile, database, and web applications that seamlessly integrate with your environment in order to achieve business excellence.
COMPUTING IN AWS & AZURE Amazon web service – EC2 users can configure their own Virtual Machines or rather choose pre-configured images, or customize Machine instance. Users choose power, size, number of VMs, memory capacity, and choose from different regions and zones which are available.
Azure - Whereas Azure users choose VHD (Virtual Hard Disk), which is equivalent to a MIs, to create a Virtual machine. VHD can be pre-configured by the user, Microsoft or a 3rd party. The user must specify the size of cores and memory.
STORAGE Amazon web service – Amazon offers VPC(Virtual Private Cloud) so users can create isolated networks within the cloud environment. Within a VPC, a user can route tables, create subnets, private IP, network gateways and address ranges.
Azure - Azure offers VNET(Virtual Network) that offers users the ability to create isolated networks as we saw with aws as well as route tables, subnets, private IP address ranges, and network gateways. Both companies offer solutions to extend the physical drive data also known as on-premise data centers into the cloud and firewall.
PRICING The pricing as some difference while both offers pay as you go model but here • Aws charged are for per hour basis • whereas azure charges are for per-minute basis
