The Scripture has a lot to say about friends (good & bad) as well as the consequences of choosing them.
A man of many friends comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Prov 18:24
Wealth adds many friends, but a poor man is separated from his friend. Prov 19:4
Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but deceitful are the kisses of an enemy. Prov 27:6
