POTENTIAL SAVINGS • A public 4-year institution would charge, on average, $4,706a semester for in-state students (5 courses, or 15 credit hours, including the cost of books and fees). • That averages out to $941.20per course. • With the Saylor Student/Credit pathway model, the total cost of a course would range from $20-$95. • Based on projected cost estimates and in progress course alignments, 15 credit hours of common first year courses would cost a Saylor student only $295.
