Sutter is a partner in the Risk and Control Solutions Practice in the Beijing office. He joined in 2005 from the Switzerland office. He has over 30 years’ working experience. Before joining PwC in 1995, Mr. Sutter worked in two leading Insurance companies in Switzerland in the areas of IT Development, IT Operation and Internal audit in respective. He had a wide exposure to various operational and management activities and acquired extensive knowledge and experience of insurance industry. He has further 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes including OTC pharma products. Since joining PwC, Mr. Sutter leads teams in developing and offering various risk and control related services. He is part of the Global Enterprise Wide Risk Management (ERM) core team, rolling out PwC’s ERM methodology across various territories including Switzerland, China. While working in switzerland for PWC, he served Novartis for over 3 years in the area of systems and process assurance. Now based in China he is providing support to internal controls compliance projects, IS audit for MNC and domestic clients, as well as supporting clients in addressing ERM guidelines issued by regulators. He received his Executive MBA at IMD, Lausanne. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
