  2. CHROMIUM is a browser hijacker which can find its way to enter computers without users’ awareness. Your homepage could be changed when your browser gets infected with CHROMIUM. Once inside, this malicious program will change browser homepages and search engines. Actually the webpage mentioned before falls into the category of browser hijackers. If you see CHROMIUM, this means your computer has been infected.

  3. It is usually bundled with unreliable freeware, malicious installers and bogus browser add-ons. With this browser hijacker in the system, you will have a lot of troubles. With this kind of browser hijacker virus in the system, you will be unable to visit other websites. In addition to modifying the browser settings, it will change the content of web page as well as search results. This is because CHROMIUM is added to hosts files, which can affect the network connection. You will suffer from advertisements, pop-ups and suspicious highlighted words when you visit ever website. You’d better not use CHROMIUM to search information though it looks like a search engine.

  8. Win XP, Vista, Win 7 Users: Click Start button >> click Control Panel　>> click Uninstall a program under Programs; 2. Click Uninstall a program under Programs; 3. In Programs and Features window, click Installed on to see all recent installed software; 4. Right click on CHROMIUM and other unwanted or unknown programs >> click Uninstall
