    1. Palo Alto Production Team Best Practice Rolling Ink Pan Cleaning Station

    2. Tower Ink Pan Cleaning Station A stainless “coffin” was designed to easily move form unit to unit to accommodate the quick cleaning of ink pans. The coffin improves safety & productivity by allowing workers to clean the pans more efficiently and without carrying them to a cleaning and dumping station. The station has a hinged lid that doubles as a backsplash when opened. The bottom of the pan is sloped towards a drain. It can be emptied via the drain or using a standard ink pump station, as is being done in PA. The station also improves efficiency by allowing the ink be moved only once directly into an accumulation barrel. For information on pricing and installation contact Palo Alto machinists Gary Legg or Gary Sloan.

    4. Coffin cleaning station back view. Notice wheels that accommodate moving station unit to unit.

    5. Coffin cleaning station with doors open. Notice bars installed inside to rest pans. Also, open doors can easily allow pumping or draining of ink.
