What is Naphtha ? • Naphtha is “C5+” chain of Hydrocarbon which is obtained from Distillation Column of Refinery and known as Straight Run Naphtha. • Cracked Naphtha is also obtained from FCCU (Fluidized-bed Catalytic Converter Unit) of Refinery and same is blended in refinery along with suitable additives to get MS. • Straight Run Naphtha are being marketed for meeting indigenous requirement as well as meant for export.

What is SCK? • Special Cut Kerosene(SCK) is nothing but SKO with higher Flash Point(43Deg.C).Normal SKO is having Flash point of 38Deg.C • RIL-Patalganga is the lone customer for SCK,which takes the forward stream of SCK thru Pipeline. • n-Parrafins are being extracted from SCK & return stream comes back to MR thru Pipeline.15% consumes by RIL& remaining 85% comes back as return stream • n-Parrafins goes as LAB feed stock for manufacturing of LAB. • LAB is used as raw material for Detergent Manufacturing

  16. Ind.SKO • Quality wise Ind.SKO is same as PDS Kerosene. • Pricing is different. • Ind. SKO is having High Margin. • Ind.SKO is used in Industry in Precision Controlled Annealing & Heat Treatment Furnace, cleaning of metal surface & as thinner.
