  3. ~山坡發展的用途~ 香港山多地少，平地有限，加上過去的數十年人口急速上升，因此我們必須開闢土地，來興建我們生活的居所，除了填海造地之外，唯有發展山坡了!! 山坡的用途亦有不少，但都離不開:商業，住宅，旅遊，教學...

  4. ~山坡發展的傷害~ 雖然發展山坡的而且確有很多好處，但是在我們享用的同時，山坡的發展會令到山坡引至山泥傾瀉，山泥傾瀉的形成主要是因為:香港市區及其邊緣地帶，多為花崗岩，其節理明顯，在濕熱氣候影響下，易受風化，變成鬆軟土層或風化殼;到了冬季，乾冷的氣候則使土層的孔隙擴闊;這樣，當雨季復至時，水份便更容易滲入土層內，令土層很容易便飽和浸濕，然後向坡下滑動。 而山泥傾瀉則會引起人命傷亡!!...... 但是我們只要有定時護理山坡，便可以令 發生山泥傾瀉的機會減至最低!!~
