Usage Guidelines for Jeopardy PowerPoint Game Game Setup • Right now, Click File > Save As, and save this template with a different file name. This will keep the template untouched, so you can use it next time! • Scroll through the presentation and enter the answers (which are really the questions) and the questions (which are really the answers). • Enter in the five category names on the Main Game Board (Slide 5). Game Play • Open Jeopardy slide and click on microphone to let the sound play. Click to unpopulated game board slide (Slide 4) and click on microphone to let the sound play. Use arrow to advance to Main Game Board slide (Slide 5) and begin play. NOTE: Do not click on an amount on the unpopulated game board slide or it will go to a question. • As you play the game, click on the YELLOW DOLLAR AMOUNT that the contestant calls, not the surrounding box. • When the contestant answers, click anywhere on the screen to see the correct answer. • Click on the “House / Home” icon to return to the Main Game Board. NOTE: If you do not click on the “House / Home” icon, then you advance to the next question without giving the contestant an opportunity to select from the Main Game Board. • Final Jeopardy – Go to the Main Game Board and click “Final” in the bottom right corner for the question slide. Click again for final jeopardy slide and click on microphone to let the sound play. When sound is finished playing, click again for the answer slide.
GAME DIRECTIONS • And now it’s time to energize and educate through our very own Energy Jeopardy! • There are 5 categories, each with questions ranging from 100 - 500 points • Many of the standard Jeopardy rules apply: • Please answer in the form of a question • There is one Daily Double and one Final Jeopardy question (both worth a bonus prize) • If you answer correctly, you get to pick the next category and points and then it’s open to anyone to guess • We’re not keeping track of points and there are no wagers, unlike traditional Jeopardy. • Each correct answer gets a prize. The questions worth more get a bigger prize. • To start us off, please check under your seat for a Hershey Kiss to identify who will go first. • Let the game begin!
