Help Countries With Heart Disease! By Sergo Oganesyan
The goal is to: • Help countries that have problems with heart diseases. • Help people with all types of heart disease. • Build hospitals in the cities to cure heart disease.
I chose the disease and countries because: • The disease is one of the biggest leading causes of deaths in the whole world. • It is a very big problem of the world, which is having a big effect on peoples’ lives. • The Countries were having heart disease issues. • They were the countries that had the highest heart disease rates. • The countries are not able tocontrol the disease properly.
My health issue is • A disease that happens in your veins and heart. • A disease that fills the veins with fat and cholesterols. • A disease that stops your blood from flowing through veins. • A disease that is the leading cause of all deaths. • One of the most expensive diseases to cure. ($273,000,000,000 is used in America for all types of heart disease.)
The Countries are: • Slovakia is 42nd richest with 17,643$ nominal GDP per capita. • Ukraine is 102nd richest with 3,621$ nominal GDP per capita. • Austria is 10th richest with 49,809$ nominal GDP per capita. • Hungary is 37th richest with 14,050$ nominal GDP per capita. • Slovakia with 22 hospitals and 4 health insurance companies. • Ukraine with 48 hospitals but has no advanced equipment and no good doctors. • Austria with 11 hospitals with good health care. • Hungary with 14 hospitals but not enough nurses and doctors in them.
Data Shows • In Slovakia Heart Disease is 40.14% of all deaths in the country. Which is almost half of all the deaths. • In Ukraine 338,108 people died from heart disease. Causing almost half of all deaths in Ukraine. In Hungary 33,588 people died from heart disease till today. If you take 100,000 people in Austria 72.72 of them will have heart disease
Percentage of deaths • This graph shows the percentage of how many deaths were by heart disease out of all deaths. • The highest percentage is 49.36%. And the lowest is 24.15% •Countries with a big population and high percentage have a lot of deaths.
I have found out that • Heart disease death rates are higher in Caucasia and Europe. • Heart disease can happen because of many different reasons. High Blood pressure, High cholesterol level, High alcohol consumption, obesity, diabetes, lack of physical activity) • It is one of the biggest cause of deaths. Which causes over 13,000,000 deaths. ( 7 million Ischaemic + 6 million Coronary)
Help Ukraine by giving them: • We will need at least 3 heart hospitals in country. • We will need to have 10-20 doctors in each hospital that can perform operations. • We will need artificial valves or pig valves to replace the old ones.
We need those items because: • Ukraine Is the country with the 2nd biggest amount of deaths by heart disease. • Heart disease is a very hard disease to cure. One accident and the person is dead. • Many people have heart disease, so we need enough hospitals to cure the people that have the disease.
