Shirt order • If you would like a shirt, please email me your size • Cost: about $22 • Students already have them
“Snack” sign up • Practices run 3-5pm; some dinners • Snacks instead of dinners to be more productive • Snack ideas (see sign-up sheet) • Chips (small bags) • Fruit roll ups • Juice boxes • Trail mix (small bags), etc.
“Breakfast” sign up • Breakfast would be appreciated on morning practices around 8-9 am • Upcoming mornings 8am: • Saturday, 2/4 • Saturday, 2/25

B-Division help • High school team helping B-division Regionals March 10th • Syracuse University • Our students will be judges / running events • They are the best as they know how important organization & knowledge of events are as judges
States Competition • March 30-31stat Canisius College, Buffalo, NY • We will leave FM at 8:30am on a coach bus • Parents scout Canisius campus soon?? • See campus map
Friday March 30 • Arrive ~12 noon Friday • Kids unload bus / find team room • Teachers register team • Kids find event rooms / sites • Fri. Night: Experimental Design, Protein Modeling, Astronomy • Need parents to bring 7 kids & 1 teacher back to hotel for dinner • Last minute studying and early-to-bed
Saturday March 31 • Parents/family can watch: • Gravity Vehicle • Helicopters • Mag Lev Vehicle • Robot Arm • Towers • Stay in designated viewing areas • DO NOT communicate with students • Award ceremony: ~4 pm (rewarding??)

Food / water • Lunch for Saturday, 3/31 • Kids enjoy fun treats & inspiring quotes • Food for bus: • Healthy snacks • Easy to clean-up • Water bottles (small & not in cooler)
Saturday night • Leave after award ceremony • Dinner on the Thruway (kids need $) • Back to F-M Oak Tree circle by 9 pm? • Please be available to pick up your child
Cell phone • Make sure you have other parent’s phone numbers • For communicating ride pick-ups/drop-offs with parents/students • Coordinating dinners/snacks, etc.
Kindly Remember • Please make sure kids stay focused on school work and Science Olympiad • Kids must be present at school to participate in practices (same as sports) • Kids have to be at school on days before and after trips
