  2. Introduction • Marco Polo’s exploration was 24 years long! • He was born September 15th, in Venice, Italy. • China funded the exploration. • Kublai Khan sent Marco Polo on the exploration. • The goal of the exploration was to trade stuff in China.

  3. Exploration • He explored eastern, central, and southern Asia. • The people living there first were the Chinese. • Marco even able to write a book that explained Asia to Europeans.
