Title • Short, but interesting How to properly fit a bit to your horse’s mouth Fit the Bit • Catches listener’s attention Barrel Racing Tack The Tack-nicalities of Barrel Racing
Visual Aids • Posters, Power Point Presentation • Videos, Pictures • Handouts • Props • Clothing choices can be used as props • No actual animals
The Presentation- some details • Intro: just like the title- catch listener’s attention, short, to the point • Timing: aim for a few minutes longer than minimum time allotted incase you talk a little faster than normal • Notes: are allowed, but don’t rely on them (practice without) • Conclusion: like the intro- short, relevant • Cite References: bring in your actual sources if possible (or a picture of the source) • Questions: be sure to repeat the questions audience can hear question
