  1. Agamemnon

  2. He came from Mycenae. • His wife’s name is Clytemnaestra. • He was the brother of Menelaus and the son of Atreus. • He killed his uncle to get back his throne. • He had four children; Chrysothemis, Electra, Iphigenia and Orestes. • He is a bully.

  3. He is little more than a bully, but he is a bully with a lot of power. He has the largest army out of all the Greeks. Agamemnon getting ready for battle…

  4. Examples of Agamemnon being a ‘dog-face’ • He refuses to give back Chryses’ daughter back. • Insists Achilles gives up his prize. • Would rather let his men die than give up his prize. • He sacrificed his own daughter to go to Troy.

  5. FUN FACTS… this is really cheesy. • He survived ten years of war only to be killed by his wife when he returned. • He is always depicted with beard.

  6. QUOTES • ‘Give me another prize at once’ • ‘I shall come in force to fetch her, which will be worse for him’ • ‘I want my army alive and well not dead or dying’ • ‘Do you expect me to sit tamely by while I am robbed?’ • ‘Its always trouble you revel in predicting.’
