  3. Hyperbole • An exaggeration Examples: • I’ve told you a million times. • I am so hungry I could eat a horse. • Mil gracias.

  4. Alliteration • Two or more words in a row starting with the same sound Examples: • Shesells sea shells by the sea shore • finales, fugaces, fugitivos fuegos fundidos en tu piel fundada

  5. Metaphor • Comparison of 2 unlike objects, ideas, thoughts or feelings to provide a clearer description Examples: • Apple of my eye • The light of my life • Eres la luz de mi vida
