  2. Notes • You will need eight 3x3 sticky notes. • Make the folds as precise as possible, in order to have a sturdy Ninja Star. • Running the edge of your fingernail over the creases will make the folds precise and firm.

  3. Step One Fold the sticky note in half vertically, and press down the fold firmly. Unfold.

  4. Step Two Fold the top right corner over the bottom left corner, press down the fold firmly, and unfold.

  5. Step Three Fold the top left corner over the bottom right corner, press down firmly and unfold.

  6. Step Four Fold the top right corner to the intersecting middle of the sticky note, to create a right “dog ear.” Press the hold down firmly.

  7. Step Five Fold the bottom left corner to the intersecting middle of the sticky note, to create a left “dog ear.” Press down firmly.

  8. Step Six Fold the sticky note in half; pinch the pointed edge with your right hand. Now, with your left hand you’re going to press the left side down and fold the two flaps or “wings” and press firmly. Repeat steps one through six on the remaining seven sticky notes.

  9. Step Seven (Now you’re going to attach all of the pieces to form an octagon.) Hold the sticky note by the the pointed edge. Hold another sticky note and hold it by the wings in your right hand.

  10. Step Eight Place the second sticky note in the first sticky note. The pointed edge of the second sticky note should be aligned with the wings of the first sticky note.

  11. Step Nine Tuck in the remainder of the wings from the first sticky note into the top of the second sticky note, to hold them firmly in place. The wings should be tucked into its corresponding side. Repeat steps seven through nine until you have all of them connected; until an octagon is formed.

  12. Step Eleven Slide or push in the sides of the octagon until the Ninja Star is complete.
