BUT IT’S IN THE BIBLE The bible say many things, but how much do you know about what it say. Some think God has to say something’s over and over for it to be binding. I want you to think about this, When God speaks is HE going to say anything wrong( is it like HE does not know what He’s talking about.) Today we are going to view what GOD has to say about a few things.
------------------------------------------------------- First a few reminders from the word of God.. (Joh 21:24 ESV) This is the disciple who is bearing witness about these things, and who has written these things, and we know that his testimony is true.:25 .Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.
(Isa 13:6 ESV) Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; as destruction from the Almighty it will come!:7 Therefore all hands will be feeble, and every human heart will melt. 8 ESV) They will be dismayed: pangs and agony will seize them; they will be in anguish like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at one another; their faces will be aflame.:9 Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger, to make the land a desolation and to destroy its sinners from it. 10 For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be dark at its rising, and the moon will not shed its light.11 I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.
(Isa 55:6 ESV) "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; 7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.10 "For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
SIN (1Jn 3:4 KJV) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (1Jn 3:4 ESV) Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness (1Jn 3:4 GNB) Whoever sins is guilty of breaking God's law, because sin is a breaking of the law. (good new bible)
When you do things that God does say for you to do then you are sinning. (Gen 4:7 ESV) If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it." (Exo 20:20 ESV) Moses said to the people, "Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you, that you may not sin."
(Exo 23:33 ESV) They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me; for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you." (Exo 32:21 ESV) And Moses said to Aaron, "What did this people do to you that you have brought such a great sin upon them?" (Exo 32:31 ESV) So Moses returned to the LORD and said, "Alas, this people has sinned a great sin. They have made for themselves gods of gold.
(1Ki 16:19 ESV) because of his sins that he committed, doing evil in the sight of the LORD, walking in the way of Jeroboam, and for his sin which he committed, making Israel to sin. (Pro 10:16 ESV) The wage of the righteous leads to life, the gain of the wicked to sin. (Pro 14:34 ESV) Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
(Ecc 5:6 ESV) Let not your mouth lead you into sin, and do not say before the messenger that it was a mistake. Why should God be angry at your voice and destroy the work of your hands? (Mat 5:29 ESV) If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. (Mat 13:41 ESV) The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers,
(Mat 18:6 ESV) but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. (Mat 18:21 ESV) Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?" (Joh 1:29 ESV) The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
(Joh 8:34 ESV) Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. (Joh 16:8 ESV) And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: (Rom 6:16 ESV) Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
(Rom 6:16 ESV) Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? (Rom 6:22 ESV) But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.
(Rom 6:23 ESV) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 7:7 ESV) What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, "You shall not covet."
